Here at Supplemental Staffing, we take care of the employee pay, benefits, and placement. With as many candidates as we work with, we can find passionate people to fill your open positions.

Tell us about yourself! What makes you, “you”?

I am extremely passionate about the work I do, and I bring this energy to every task I undertake. My enthusiasm positively influences my team members, and I have found it helps us achieve our goals more effectively. My passion drives me to consistently help the people in our community find local jobs and better their skills.

Describe your business/services and then tell us about what brought you to creating this business and why you’re passionate about it.

Supplemental Staffing is a family business. We opened our doors in 1978. Our company is now being led by our second generation and going strong. Toledo is a great community to start and grow a family, but in order to keep our families local, we need to have a thriving business community. We’re the bridge that helps connect our local businesses with our local people. It’s true, “you’ll do better in Toledo” and we’re here to make that happen!

What goals do you have for your business in the future?

Connect our local business with our local people – keep Toledo growing.

What is your proudest achievement?

Every time we help someone start a new job

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced as a business owner and how did you overcome it?

Our biggest struggle is when we can’t find enough local people to fill all the job openings we have.

What advice would you give to a woman looking to start a business or get into a leadership role? Is there one thing that has helped you specifically?

2 things – Network and find a Mentor. They are both invaluable to your success!

What made you want to join HerHub?

I love it’s premise – help create an easy site to promote local women owned businesses. Sometimes it’s hard to find what you’re looking. This is a great site to make it easy and convenient for anyone to find a local vendor. I’ve used it several times with great success.

Why do you feel it’s important to collaborate and empower other women?

There’s power in numbers. Also, when you help others, they tend to help you in return.
Why If you could recommend one resource (book, podcast, quote, website, etc.) that has helped you in life or in business, what would it be and why?
“For when we are weak, then we are stong”. It’s helped me through the tough times. And I believe it’s the tough times that makes us who we are today.

We love spreading love to other woman-owned businesses and we bet you do too.  Give a shout out here to your favorite, local, woman-owned business (besides your own)!
